Looking for a somatic sexologist? I work with individuals and couples who are ready to explore the deeper dimensions of their sexuality to cultivate a soulful intimate life. My approach as a somatic sexologist is holistic, compassionate, and deeply respectful of your unique rhythm and story.
I’ve been trained in various techniques that include genital anatomy, masturbation coaching, and support of erotic energy. My sessions provide a space for honest conversation, support, and relief for genito-pelvic issues and questions. I offer online and in-person somatic coaching to help clients understand their bodies and find more agency around their sexual health.
Sessions are typically from 1-1.5 hours, although they can be longer depending on the specific goals. Together, we create a customized erotic educational plan that may include role-play, breathwork, or discussion with no touch at all. Sessions can include internal or external genital work – for example, from educational vulva mapping, to pain/numbness scar treatment, to prostate massage.
Each session has specific objectives with a clear path toward reaching goals. A typical session will include:
We build sequentially toward healing through education and consent-based touch. Although one session can be highly beneficial, a series of sessions will facilitate the deepest progress.
Every individual’s journey is unique. Good support in human sexuality requires a guide who is equipped to navigate the emotional and physical aspects of intimacy, and not just through traditional talk therapy.
If you’re searching for a somatic sexologist in Lisbon, I provide a safe and non-judgmental space around issues concerning relationships and sexuality. I’m here when you’re ready to step toward your whole self – body, mind, and heart.
I offer online somatic coaching via video call when in-person sessions are not possible. Many find these are just as effective as in-person, with the added benefit of getting to be in your own comfortable space.
I provide you with all the support and same tools for any kind of session that does not require hands-on work. It’s a great option!
I also offer specialized sessions focusing on deeper embodied practices like vulva mapping for enhanced pleasure, and techniques to manage and overcome premature ejaculation.
I’m an American expat living in Lisbon. I found the transformative field of sexology after a divorce that sent me on a journey of sexual healing.
I’ve spent decades focusing on the body – as a professional dancer, master yoga teacher, expressive arts therapist, and teaching artist in schools. I launched and directed my own dance company, started my own yoga studio, and spent a decade of academic teaching at universities. Shifting my focus to sexuality work has brought me full circle from seeing the body primarily through the lens of artistic expression and technique …to embracing the joyous spiritual healing that can be found through fuller sexual agency.
I’m a member of the worldwide Ecstatic Dance community and currently serve as the Vice President of the Association of Certified Sexological Bodyworkers.
I am deeply grateful for all of my teachers, especially those from my dance, yoga, and expressive arts therapy programs not listed due to limited space and decades passed. All my teachers have shaped who I am as a somatic coach.
Certified Somatic Sexologists are experts in human sexuality who address topics like anatomy, arousal, desire, dysfunction, and sexual trauma with clients. The work focuses on the body and its entire sensory aspect through the use of either therapeutic touch or online visual-physical guidance.

Sexological bodywork may be right for you if you’d like to explore your body, release negative internalized messages, or have some sexual challenges. I offer a free discovery call so you can ask me questions to see if this is a fit.
This depends on a client’s goals. While a single session can be very beneficial, if you are trying to change some habits or develop some new skills, I recommend a minimum of 4-5 sessions so you can integrate the learning.
Approach your sexological bodywork session as you would any kind of therapy. You are entitled to confidentiality and I will maintain my duty of confidentiality with you as any therapist or doctor would. While clients sometimes wish to keep these sessions private at the beginning, over time, the work will certainly impact your partnership(s) so I will likely encourage you to communicate with them. At the right time and only at your request, I welcome a partner(s) attendance to a session.
No. Sexual exchange between client and practitioner is not part of Sexological Bodywork. Sessions are strictly focused on your learning and personal integration.
There’s some overlap but these are the general differences: Sexological bodywork is therapeutic and educational, practiced within a structured professional environment – it is ideal for those who want to overcome sexual dysfunction, understand sensation and boundaries, and learn in a safe professional environment.
Tantric massage is less structured and has a more intuitive flow to it. There is often an emphasis on making a spiritual connection or in helping clients reach a state of sensual transcendence. It’s ideal if you want to explore the connections between sexuality and energy work within a less formal structure.
Yes, if it’s an organic part of your exploration. However, the focus is not typically aimed at achieving orgasm – instead, sessions are opportunities to track internal awareness and practice greater erotic agency throughout the whole body.
Yes. Sexological Bodyworkers are professionally trained, follow a strict code of ethics, and maintain professional boundaries. The work is grounded in respect, safety, and client consent.
Disclaimer: Sex and intimacy coaching is not psychotherapy. I’m not a licensed social worker or marriage and family therapist so I offer neither therapy, psychotherapy, or medical advice.
